THE OASIS HOTEL, ALGHERO
The Oasis is a modern three star hotel, conveniently situated for cyclists on the outskirts of Alghero. Triathletes also enjoy this venue due to the surrounding pine woods (running), nearby athletics track and proximity to the sea (200m). There are private and public beaches directly opposite.

There are 120 standard rooms with balcony, air conditioning, central heating, private bathroom telephone and safe. The bar, restaurant, lounge and games rooms are all air conditioned, activities on offer include: tennis, table tennis and a small football pitch. The Hotel is in a large private space with gardens to the rear, a large 25m swimming pool and small children’s pool.

For your convenience, during peak times New Limits offer a massage service, bike storage, workshop area and shop within the Hotel.

The restaurant offers an extensive breakfast (rare in Italy) as well as a great evening buffet of cooked meals and fresh local produce.

In summary the Oasis gets the thumbs up for its helpful English-speaking staff, plenty of great food and spacious beach side location. Not so good if you prefer self catering or a quiet retreat.
